MEMBERSHIP FORM 2024/25 SEASON 

 

Membership will close on 10th December 2024

 

Please read the following Membership Rules and satisfy yourself of eligibility before completing the form

 

JOINING THE SUPPORTERS CLUB

  1. All new and renewing members who are Chelsea fans are welcome to join our Supporters Club.
  2. All persons making an application to join the Dublin Supporters Club online will be granted membership for that season, on completing the membership form and paying the membership fees (noted below).
  3. Membership applications are submitted via this online form only.
  4. We hold regular monthly meetings and other club events and encourage all members to become actively involved in the social aspects of the Supporters Club.
  5. Joining online gives you access to these meetings, subsidised club events and our monthly newsletters and competitions.
  6. There are 2 tiers of membership - Ticketing and non-Ticketing. Only members who provide Chelsea FC True Blue/Ticketing membership details will be eligible for Dublin Supporters Club Ticketing membership.


GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION

  1. We are the Dublin Supporters Club and members must be drawn from the greater Dublin and commuter areas only.
  2. If you do not live in the Dublin area or environs, you are not eligible to join the Dublin Supporters Club and should join a club nearer to your home location.
  3. The address on your account with Chelsea FC must be a Dublin-based or commuter area address.
  4. Member applications from those with addresses outside the permitted area will be rejected by Chelsea FC, who validate all members. To avoid this, a Dublin based address is essential on your Chelsea FC account.
  5. For the avoidance of doubt, you must be resident in Ireland to be a member of the Supporters Club. Residents in London are not eligible to join or renew Dublin membership.


CHELSEA MATCH TICKETS

  1. We are first and foremost a Supporters Club, a like-minded group of Chelsea fans who meet together to support the team. 
  2. Priority access to match tickets is a one of the benefits of Membership of the group, but Membership does not guarantee a right to ticket access to any member or group of members.
  3. The Dublin Supporters Club is not a ticket agent, nor does it exist to supply tickets for those joining solely for that purpose. If your primary reason for joining is to access match tickets, please do not join with that expectation, to avoid disappointment.
  4. Newly joining members for this season must attend 3 (three) club meetings in person to validate their ticketing membership. Ticket ordering access is then granted after the third attendance. Without the minimum attendance requirements, ticket access will not be available to first time members.
  5. Renewing members of 2 or more years service will gain ticket ordering access automatically based on their tenure.
  6. New members from the 2023/24 season who did not attend at least 3 meetings during that season must attend 3 meetings this season first before gaining/restoring ticket ordering access.
  7. Submitting a ticket order does not guarantee receipt of those tickets. Where less tickets than were ordered are received, tickets are allocated to the highest attenders first, via a rolling 12 month Dublin meeting attendance loyalty points scheme. This rewards those who support the monthly activities, in priority to those who do not attend, and low attendance may mean that the ticket order cut-off level never reaches you on the list.

€45 - Family (2 adults & 2 under 16's or 1 adult & 3 under 16's

    • The Monthly Newsletter, sent before each meeting date, contains the update for that month.
    • There can be other updates (e.g. ticket order details, match meetups or Cobhan visit draws) which get shared during the month, and an update goes out via the Dublin SC WhatsApp Community.
    • This is a private group, which is one way only (not a chat group). Your personal details are not shared or visible by you being included in this group, it is solely for you to receive club updates.
    • There is the opportunity to join a chat group once you are part of the Community, which operates like a normal WhatsApp group.

            All club officials are unpaid volunteers and will have work, travel or other committments to manage also prior to responding.

            • By continuing with a membership application, you are agreeing to accept and abide by the Chelsea FC and Dublin Supporters Clubs Membership and Ticketing rules.
            • In the event of dispute, the decision of the Dublin Supporters Club Committee will be final. 
            • There is no obligation for the Supporters Club to provide match tickets for any member, and no automatic right to ticket access exists on completion of a membership form or payment of the membership fee.
            • Ticket access remains a bonus opportunity from membership of this group, and should not be the primary reason for joining the Supporters Club.
            • There is a minimum attendance requirement of at least 3 meetings per season for newly joining or renewing members to be eligible for ticket orders. 
            • These rules were adopted and approved by the AGM of members on 7th May 2024, and remain in force until amended by an EGM or subsequent AGM.


            CHELSEA MATCH TICKET ORDER CRITERIA

            1. A Chelsea Membership (Ticket Only/True Blue) is required in the name of each person who wishes to order a ticket for games. 

            2. A maximum of ONE ticket per registered member is available.

            3. Tickets are for the sole use of that named member only and are not transferrable in any circumstance.

            4. Tickets which cannot be used by the named member will be eligible for a full refund up to 48 hours before the match takes place.

            5. Members found to pass on or sell tickets obtained via the Supporters Club will receive a ban from Chelsea FC and will have their Dublin Supporters Club membership cancelled, without refund. They may also be subject to further action by Chelsea FC for breaching ticketing rules.
